Extend the Life of Your Ambulance by Choosing to Remount
Remounting an ambulance box from the chassis has been around for a long time, and is becoming extremely popular in today's market. With new ambulances requiring long lead times and very high prices, our demand for remounting is at an all-time high. With Northland Emergency Vehicles, we're able to offer high-quality remounts on all brands and models of ambulance boxes!
We offer three different remount options.
Option 1: "Pop-n-Swap"
The first option is simply the removal of the box from the existing chassis, and then placing the box on a new chassis of your choice. With little to no repairs or upgrades needed on the box, Option 1 offers the most competitive pricing and quickest lead times. Currently we're seeing lead times of 60 days for this remount option.
Option 2: "Modified Pop-n-Swap"
When choosing Option 2, customers receive a brand-new chassis and can make minor upgrades to the ambulance box. For example, if your box is in really good shape, but you'd like to add a Stryker PowerLOAD and a new graphics package, our "Modified Pop-n-Swap" would be a great option for your service. Our current lead time on the second option is between 60-120 days.
Option 3: "Full Remount"
If your box has seen better days and needs some serious work... don't worry! Our "Full Remount" package could be a great way to bring your ambulance back to life. Not only do you receive a brand-new chassis - we can repair or replace components on your HVAC, electrical system, emergency and scene lighting, module configuration, paint, graphics, and much more! While this option does take a little longer and is higher-priced, you'll be amazed at the way your ambulance looks when it comes back to your facility. Current lead times for Option 3 are 5-7 months.
