Type I Ambulances
Excellance Golden Eagle Type I Ambulances are the traditional choice of EMS Providers who demand maximum payloads and easy engine access. The Type I modular body shares most of the same features as the Type III series, but offers 25% more standard interior cabinet storage.
The fully-welded aluminum module has a standard size of 146″ length x 96″ width and includes a standard 72″ of interior headroom.
Type III Ambulances
Excellance Type III Ambulances are the choice of EMS Providers who demand the maneuverability, handling, and ride of a cutaway-style chassis. The Type III modular body shares most of the same features as our Type I series, but also includes additional items such as an exterior battery storage compartment and custom-fabricated aluminum diamond-plate running boards as standard equipment.
Its fully-welded aluminum module has a standard size of 166″ length x 96″ width and includes 69″ of interior headroom.
Heavy Duty Ambulances
A growing number of EMS providers require the heavy-duty performance available only from the Golden Eagle Type I EHD. Unlike common light-duty chassis, the EHD will increase your operational efficiency and reduce your overall maintenance and replacement costs.
Module lengths can vary from 162-175″ with 69-75″ of headroom and endless choices of interior and exterior storage compartments to suit your requirements.
